Oh Boy! If what "Spectrum" says is correct.....

All I need is a Piano, one really, really, really, great, piano, and Omni would be my 100% goto synth. I actually bought Kore 2 / komplete 5, just because I couldn't handle spending $299, just for Akoustik (NI's Piano), when I could have it all for $800 (yes I got an amazing deal).

I open up Omni inside of Kore 2 all the time, just so I can pair up Omni with Akoustik.

Come on Spectrasonics! I know you want to, I know you can! Let me buy and use a "Made in America" plug-in worth using!

Just kidding...I'm just excited.

It would be awesome if Omni could also create a slightly more CPU friendly "Live" mode for playing...er...Live.

New Omni sounds

Post  Rich P on Thu Nov 26, 2009 11:51 am

It would be great to get some of the 'classic' keyboard soundsets available eg. Fairlight and Synclavier

new soundsets

I've entered this request every time I've authorized my products. I have them all...Atmosphere through Omnisphere, and everything in between. I would very much like to have an orchestral library with everything from percussion to brass, to strings and woodwinds. Great topic! What a Face

Request for demo of Omnipsphere's string ensemble sounds

Post  wholetone on Sat May 07, 2011 1:20 am

Hi all,

I would like to know if Omnisphere has me covered for strings. If it does, it is the only product I need. Please post the best demos you can make of huge orchestral string sections, such as you might hear from Cinematic Strings or "Big Strings2" form Complete Orchestra Roland SRX card that you can hear here:

http://www.rolandus.com/flash/demos/srx/srx_demo.html

Thanks so much for posting some Omnisphere string demos, I would really appreciate it.

As far as this thread is concerned, this is also my request for what should be added in future expansions of Omnisphere if it is lacking in the realistic huge orchestral string sections department.

There are two basic string ensemble sounds in Omnisphere.
Both are really good but do not try to compete with specialist libraries like VSL or east&west.
One of the two sounds was already in Atmosphere
there are a couple of audiodemos of it at the Spectrasonics website
check Distant Times and Adagio Expressivo on this page
http://www.spectrasonics.net/products/legacy/atmosphere.php?demo_type=all&genreID=43&artistID=all#top_of_player

best
Hans
