I'm going for a strange take on second line rhythms. Me on all keys and percussion and acoustic guitars, plus my new Hammond 44 Melodica. Towards the end, I run it through a guitar amp for a blues harp vibe.

Thanks for listening, as always.

totally diggin this!
great bo diddley vibe, love your playing and how you arranged things.
Theme reminds me a bit of the old jazz standard "In other words"

Great job!

best

Thanks, Hans--I think you mean Fly Me To The Moon, which has the lyrics "In other words..." right? Yes, the shape of the melody is very close. I didn't realize it till I was finished composing, and it's always hard for me to re-tool melodies once I get to that point!

haha-right.
its like that joke where the guy asks the pianoplayer in the bar to play "thats what you are" and when the pianoplayer says he doesnt know it the guy sings
"unforgetable......."

I had a similiar case where i composed a theme that was very close to stranger in paradise.
I didnt change it because i found out that the real original was from a classical russian composer.......
i was just another guy who was inspired by that......
