pre-purchase question
Hello forum:
I have a custom audio computer built by Jim Roseberry at Studio Cats.
Intel i7 920, 6 Gig DDR3 RAM, Vistax64, three seagate barracuda sata2 drives, etc running SONAR 8.3.1
I have heard/read that omni can be difficult to run due to various things: maybe size, code or other.
Is there an official bug report?
Any documentation about omni's over-all install ease/not easy, reliability or performance limits relative to certain DAW?

Re: pre-purchase question
I am a member of the betateam and there are no negative reports from Sonarusers about Omnisphere.
As a matter of fact Omni runs really good on PC and Mac.
If i was to get a PC i would probably prefer windows7 instead of Vista though but not because of Omnisphere or Sonar but because it feels a lot sturdier and snappier in my experience and seems a bit closer in performance and ease of use to OSX which is the system i use.
I am sure you will be very happy with your new computer and Omnisphere

Re: pre-purchase question
and since you gona go 64 bit i would recommend getting 8 or 10 GB of RAM.
Its cheap and the more the better at least in a 64 bit environment.

Thank you.
I have a Gigabyte GA EX58-UD3R and I don't know how much RAM it can hold.
Presently, it has three Corsair Dominator 2Gig sticks.

6 GB is definetly enough to have some serious fun with.
I have 10 GB in my computer and only use more than 6 when things get really dense.
