Hi,
Your problem is due to virtual memory issues and not RAM issues.
Look at the spectrasonics FAQ for more info:

Anton,
could you please provide some numbers from the activity monitor application?
It is in your Utility folder in the application folder
Dienstprograme/Aktivitätsanzeige in german.
it will tell you exatly how much ram logic is using.
I have 10 GB in my MAcpro 8core but Logic can only use about 3 GB under Leopard.
When you get close to that amount you will get the out of memory message although the mac has another 4 GB of free RAM.
Lets hope Apple will change that with the next major update of OSX and Logic.

Hans

Hans, I almost sure you are wrong about this...
From the Spectrasonics site:
"Also note that the "Out of memory" warning in Omnisphere refers to virtual memory, not physical memory. This means that installing more than 2GB of RAM will not help eliminate this condition (although it often improves performance). "

The paragraph you quoted is for windows users.
The OP is using a mac.
Everything i said applies to the Mac platform only.
